Proud to be named after Chairman Ho, Nguyen Tat Thanh University pays great attention to building the NTTU’s culture. When talking about the culture of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, we talk about the cultural values that have been carefully selected over time, both tangible and intangible.

The code of conduct covers the politeness, respectfulness, and mutual understanding in daily behaviors: from conversations, handshakes, cellphone etiquette to self-introduction, name card usage, and treatment toward partners, colleagues, parents, and other students.

When talking about the culture of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, we talk about the cultural values

that have been carefully selected over time, both tangible and intangible.

The code of facilities usage is based on everyone’s awareness and proactivity to preserve, maintain, and maximize the usage efficiency of joint properties. To be specific, it is about the culture of using facilities and equipment such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, conference rooms, elevators, and stairs.

Being responsible for fully participating and complying with the plans and policies in activities is the basis of the code of compliance. It covers the attires and etiquette during the salute to flag; the work discipline of staff and faculty members; the academic discipline of students; the resolution of internal and external affairs; and the implementation of decisions, policies, the announcements, reporting, rebuttals, and the resolutions of conflicts.

The code of collective & extracurricular activities and the code of meetings talk about the principle of listening respectfully to each other and complying with the regulations from the organizers during meetings, group activities, and extracurricular activities.

Based on the objective and holistic evaluation of the work of staff and faculty members, the school constructed the code of evaluation, reward, and discipline in order to protect and enhance the reputation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Overall, the culture of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is built on the foundation of policies, codes, rules, and university regulations. It is manifest in every single daily acts, from handshakes to conversations, as well as in the implementation of the listening-understanding-sharing principle between top and middle managers, between managers and staff & faculty members, among the staff and faculty members, between teachers and students, among teachers, and among students. This is the first step toward creating a mutual-respect, mutual-develop, and strongly connect community.  

The culture of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is a culture of carefully chosen values, a culture of promoting creativity and discipline from each individual. All members of NTTU follow and comply with the codes and regulations of the university, creating a beautiful image of harmony in the trend of global integration.
